German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have confirmed the appointment of Jupp Heynckes as the new manager of the club, and his appointment takes immediate effect.
The 72-year-old will return to the Bundesliga giants for the fourth time following the sacking of Italian tactician Carlo Ancelotti.
But Jupp Heynckes will only be in charge of Bayern Munich till the end of the season in which the club will decide if he should continue or they find another replacement.
Bayern needed a new manager after deciding to part company with Ancelotti who lost the faith of the squad and was criticized for his lackluster training sessions and suffered a humbling defeat against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
Paris-Saint-Germain defeated Bayern Munich in the Champions League which masterminded the sack of Carlo Ancelotti.
