This follows concerns raised as a result of the proximity of the school to the location where the explosion occurred on Saturday.
She added that though some students left the school’s premises in the wake of the incidents, reports reaching her indicated that they were doing well.
The explosion occurred a few meters from the school, raising concerns about the safety of students and workers.
It is reported to have started around 7pm at the Mansco Gas Filling Station; it later spread to a filling station located close by. Lives were lost, and some others were injured. Properties were destroyed as well.
Ms. Asiedu-Akrofi revealed that despite the close proximity of the school to the place of the incident, no one was injured.
She added that measures have been put in place to ensure that no one is adversely affected as a result of the explosion.
According to her, psychologists are available to offer help to all who may have been traumatized.
