- There is no possibility that Juventus defender Alex Sandro will leave the club next year
- Juventus are planning to double his wages at the club for the Brazilian to stay in Turin
- Chelsea have identified him as their number one target when the transfer window opens
Italian club Juventus are now planning to double the wages of star defender Alex Sandro amid renewed interest from Premier League champions Chelsea.
Chelsea are ready to make a mega deal in January 2018 that will tempt Juventus for them to lure Alex Sandro to Stamford Bridge.
The Blues want to strengthen their commitment to manager Antonio Conte who has identified the Brazilian as his major target in January.
Juve, however remain determined to keep hold of one of their star players and have begun negotiations over a fresh deal that would tie him to the club until 2022.
A new contract would see the 26-year-old’s salary doubled to €5m-a-year comparable to the €7m-a-year package Chelsea offered him in the summer.
