'The problem sometimes is with us men,' Chris Brown shares his thoughts on infidelity

'The problem sometimes is with us men,' Chris Brown shares his thoughts on infidelity

- Rapper and songwriter, Chris Brown, has almost become equally known for his bad boy attitude than for his music, starting with the unfortunate ‘Rihanna-gate’ incident.

- The singer hasn’t been known for his lasting relationships either, case in point ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran and his baby's mama, Nia Guzman.

- So when Chris took to Instagram to explain why men cheat on women the reaction was an obviously mixed one.

28-year-old rapper, Chris Brown, has enjoyed a rather tumultuous and rocky romantic life so far.

He has dated a bevy of beauties, most notably Rihanna, which ended after an assault scandal, and more recently ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran, which ended in infidelity rumors with his baby's mama, Nia Guzman.

Therefore it came as a surprise to many when Chris took to Instagram in October, 2016, analyzing what he thought the reasons are for men cheating.

According to an article by “Madame Noire” and “Rolling Out”, YEN learned that in this post, which has since been deleted, the star admitted that ‘the problem sometimes is with us men’.

Brown seems surprisingly insightful for a man known for his philandering ways.

‘We cheat on our girlfriends but we don’t want them to cheat on us. You know why? Because we know cheating is wrong! We cheat for s*x, just to f— but when a woman cheats she cheats for love and affection. She cheats with a guy that can potentially replace you. We cheat the most but women cheat the best.’

Interesting choice of words by the rapper, in effect complimenting women for cheating the ‘right’ way – a truly quality over quantity scenario.

‘We dish it out but we can’t take it back. We act like it’s the end of the world when we get cheated on. Women are not afraid to love, commit and be loyal but the problem sometimes is with us men.’

Though there might be some truth in Brown’s words, generalization has never been a good thing and many didn’t quite know how to interpret these bold statements by the rapper.

Do you agree that cheating remains a terrible thing to do, regardless of your reasons for doing so?

Or does cheating because you are in love with somebody else make the act any better?
