The case against against the ex-husband of Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, popularly known as Afia Schwarzenegger has taken very intriguing turns this week.
It was reported earlier that Lawrence Abrokwah had allegedly fired his lawyer Maurice Ampaw, who failed to show up at the couple’s divorce hearing on Wednesday.
However, it seems there are more twists to this case and Afia Schwarzenegger is gearing up for more fireworks.
The TV host and comedian via her Instagram page on Thursday morning, called on her friends and fans to support her to call out the Ghana Police service for failing to level the right charges against her ex-husband
Afia recounted how on August 30 this year, Abrokwah barged into her bedroom threatening her with a supposed harmful substance for apparently cheating on him.
According to Afia, Abrokwah further stole about 2000 dollars and 500 pounds from her, then proceeded to slash the tyres of her BMW car.
Afia said that even with the aforementioned acts of violence against her, the police failed to present these facts in court, and did not charge Abrokwah for the crimes.
Afia offered prayers to God to strike down anyone that attempts to harm her or her children as the battle with her ex-husband continues.
The TV host therefore pleaded with various female authority figures in the country, including the Second Lady, Samira Bawumia and the former Gender Minister, Nana Oye Lithur and other female lawyers to come to her aid.
Afia Schwarzenegger and Lawrence Abrokwah will face-off in court again on October 31.
