- Khodeja was pictured waiting for a train
- She shared her children mistreat her and no longer want her around
- She said she is dying silently because they don't love her
An 80-year-old woman who was pictured sitting alone waiting for a train says her own children do not love her.
GMB Akash, a Bangladeshi photojournalist, pictured the woman named Khodeja sitting along a railway line looking lonely. He published her photo along with her story on his Facebook page.
Khodeja said: "I have nowhere to go. I do not feel lonely when I am alone. But I feel alone among my own children. If you think they are waiting to welcome me, then I want to tell you, not everyone is lucky in this world."
She added that even after the pain of carrying her children for nine months, giving birth to them and raising them, they mistreat her in her old age.
His son allowed her to stay at his house for only three months. She was waiting for a train to go to one of her daughters for another three months.
However, her daughters only give her leftover food because their in-laws want her out of their lives. Khodeja added that her children are waiting for her to die.
Despite the mistreatment, she has nowhere else to go. She said: "But they cannot see because of their lack of love, I am dying silently every day."
