Mesut Ozil's agent has revealed his client wants to stay in England for the next "two to three years".
Erkut Sogul told Fanatik that the Germany midfielder has had "positive" talks with Arsenal however it is unknown if it is to remain at Arsenal or join Manchester United.
Manchester United have been linked with a move the 28-year-old still yet to agree a deal while Turkish giants Besiktas have also admitted an interest in the former Real Madrid man.
He told Fanatik: "Mesut is glad to hear of Besiktas being interested in him, however, no proposal has reached us.
"Even if that did happen, he wants to play in the Premier League for at least two to three more years.
"Our contact with Arsenal continues and we are moving in a positive direction."
Ozil is currently out of Arsene Wenger's side and faces a fight to get back into the team for the trip to Watford on Saturday afternoon.
