Shatta Wale motivates himself as he celebrates his birthday

Self-acclaimed King of Dance Hall music in Ghana, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, known in showbiz as Shatta Wale has ‘Taken Over’ social media to wish himself a happy birthday as he celebrates today.

The “Ayoo” hit maker took to his Facebook page in the early hours of October 17 to celebrate his efforts and milestone. He made a post and indicated, “Happy Birthday to myself… It hasn’t been easy at all my guy…#Champiooooooonn”.

The artiste had been going on about his big day for a while and it appears he has a lot planned out to celebrate his day.

Yesterday, he posted a picture of himself on his Facebook handle and solicited for support and solidarity by asking his fans to change their profile picture and use his image. His post read, “My birthday pix ..All true SM fans must change their profile picture to show me they love me if you comment and you don’t have my picture I will delete and block ..Only real fans I want on here”.

Many people showed their solidarity and did as was told others also came out to call the bluff of the musician.

Later in the day, he announced that Shatta Michy wanted to sell drinks for him at a small get together he wanted to organize.

As part of the celebration, the musician has arranged to spend a day in Nima with the market women and less privileged children by given out stuff to them.
