-A corporal of the Ghana Police Service has died in an accident at Adenta in Accra
-He was hit by one driver an run over by two others on Monday
An officer of the Ghana Police Service, Corporal Richard Antwi has met his untimely death in a horrible accident at Adenta in Accra.
He was run over by three vehicles within a very short period before being carried to the hospital.
According to reports, the late Corporal Antwi who was an officer at the Kwabenya Police was hit at the Adenta Mosque near WASS Junction on Monday night by a careless driver who failed to stop after the incident.
The hit and run driver was reportedly descending from Aburi towards Madina and on reaching the area failed to exercise caution and attention to other road users running into the deceased who was on a Suzuki motorbike.
Corporal Antwi as a result fell off from the motorbike and two other unknown vehicles ran over him and all sped off.
He sustained severe injuries and was rushed to Police Hospital for treatment but was pronounced dead on arrival.
The body has been deposited at same Hospital morgue pending autopsy.
