Chelsea star set to resume duty after sustaining career threatening injury

Spanish striker Alvaro Morata has returned to full training with his Chelsea's teammates ahead of their UEFA Champions League tough battle with Italian side Roma.

Since Alvaro Morata got injured before the international break, Chelsea who are the reigning Premier League champions have been battling to cope with his absence.

Initially, the Spaniard was reported to be out of action for the Blues for up to six weeks, but the former Real Madrid star has now recovered quicker than expected.

Morata watched his side lose their last two matches against Manchester City and Palace to leave the Blues nine points adrift of top spot in the Premier League.

Chelsea will face Roma at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday, October 18, and Alvaro Morata could start the game for the Blues depending on the level of his fitness.
