Italian side Napoli came to England with the hope of them getting at least a point against Pep Guardiola's men, but they were taught a good football lesson by the hosts.

Brazilian star Gabriel Jesus scored the second goal for Manchester City in the 13th minute after being superbly set up by Kevin de Bruyne for him to beat Pepe Reina in goal for Napoli.
Napoli had a superb chance for them to reduce the scoreline in the 38th minute when Kyle Walker fouled Raul Albiol in which the referee had no choice than to give a penalty, but Dries Mertens missed the penalty as City goalie Ederson Moraes dived well to save.
The visitors eventually scored in the 73rd minute when Fernandinho fouled Faouzi Ghoulam in the box, and Amadou Diawara stepped forward to score the penalty.
Manchester City almost got their third goal at the death, but Leroy Sane missed as the Citizens went on to win the match 2-1.
