Award-winning news anchor and TV personality, Natalie Fort, has returned to the airwaves one year after leaving her role at TV3.

Fort, a very popular newscaster, announced in the middle of July last year that she was going on leave for a year.

While she had indicated that she was going for further studies, rumours were rife that Fort was going away because she was pregnant.

Initially, the rumours were that a TV presenter whose name starts with 'N' had gotten pregnant and was in trouble because there were about four men who could be responsible.

Though the name was not clearly stated, some blogs decoded the rumour suggesting it was Fort and that sources at her workplace had suggested she had gone on leave to hide the pregnancy.

Fort strongly denied the pregnancy reports and even threatened to sue blogs and news outlets who carried the reports.

It has been exactly one year since that episode, and true to her statement, she has returned to take up her role again at TV3.
