Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, meetings have migrated to the virtual platforms to keep businesses running.

However, the situation is quite different as President Akufo-Addo is said to be in self-isolation after one person in his inner circles was reported to have tested positive to COVID-19.

In a post sighted by, the president was captured as he chaired the 80th cabinet meeting of government from the Presidential Villa in Jubilee House.

The meeting was being held virtually.

In the photos sighted, members of the cabinet joined the meeting from different locations.

As usual, the photos from the meeting have drawn a lot of interaction form Ghanaians.

According to a statement signed by the Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the president tested negative after taking the COVID-19 test.

He added that the president decided to self-isolate as a precautionary measure in compliance with COVID-19 protocols.
