''He said he didn't love me again, he collected my belongings and threw them outside the house,'' she said.

After she moved to stay with her father in Kokrobite, her husband came to the house under the guise that he was coming to apologise and ask for her forgiveness.

He however sneaked into the bathroom in her father's house where she was taking her bath at the time to pour acid on her face.

''He poured acid on me. I was naked,'' Aryee muttered amid pains.

Aryee's husband who allegedly disfigured her with acid is reportedly in the grips of the police.
