The video of a Kenyan man introducing his second wife to the first in a public ceremony has gone viral on social media.
Clad in a well-cut suit, the man paraded the two women in front of guests and explained what he expects of them as they settle into the polygamous setup.
In the video, the women could be seen listening quietly to their husband's sentiments, their eyes darting away from each other in what was evidently a tense atmosphere for them.

The unnamed man indicated that he wants the women to show love towards each other as well as love him.

On top of that, he wants the two to work hand in hand to ensure that he looks good at all times since he is a respectable member of the society.
“I want to be smart and change clothes as many times as possible, even 10 times in a day,” he reiterated.
In return, he promised to remain the same man they fell in love with, adding that he will never shame them before their children, parents, or friends.
Praised wives for accepting polygamy
The man also requested the wives to always take care of his younger brothers because they were left in his custody.

He went ahead to heap praises on the two women for accepting to share a man without turning violent against each other.
“There are no women like you in this world. You have your own weaknesses and strengths but you are the best," he said.
