"There was a miscommunication between the oncoming car and another car joining the main road from a petrol station. All I remember was waking up in a hospital in pain. My leg was fractured and felt heavy like I had a log on it. Three discs had issues, and my neck was out of position.
About a month later, I discovered my retinas were detached, and hence I was having blurry sight," he told YEN.com.gh.
Gone without a trace
Two months later, his wife, whom they had been married for six years, swept his house clean together with their two kids.
The lover of his life left him while he was in the hospital without a trace, leaving him to languish in debt and sorrow alone.
"I tried to call her, but she refused to pick up my calls. I called my in-laws, who called me their son, but they also never picked up. Only my parents picked up and encouraged me. Before losing my wife and kids, my company terminated my contract. I believe that triggered my wife to leave me," he said.

Unanswered calls by wife
Otwori noted that his wife only called him when their daughter was sick and needed his card to take her to the hospital.
"She doesn't even ask how I am doing or how I have been. She says the girl is sick and needs medical attention," Otwori highlighted.
Otwori shared that he lost his wife, sight, job and friends within six months after the accident, which greatly pained him.
