Kevin Hart opens up on how close he was to wasting his life away

- With a scandal looming over his head, this is not the first time that Kevin Hart has been in trouble

- The celebrated comedian recently confessed how he almost wasted his life away

Funnyman Kevin Hart is finding it hard to laugh these days.

Since a video was released of him in a ‘sexually suggestive’ position with another woman who was not wife Eniko, the actor has been embroiled in the scandal.

In an Instagram video where he apologized to his pregnant wife and two older children, Hart alleged that there was an extortion attempt where someone was trying to benefit from his mistakes.

“But I’m also not going to allow a person to have financial gain off of my mistakes and in this particular situation that was what was attempted. I said I’d rather fess up to my mistakes,” said Hart.

However, the lady in the video, model Montia Sabbag, came forward and claimed that she was not an extortionist and that she had nothing to do with the video recording.

The model further claimed that she and Hart were ‘intimate’ three times over three days, and insisted that the tape in question was allegedly filmed during the day while Hart “was sober.”

While the jury is still out on who is telling the truth, this is not the first time that Hart has taken to social media to admit his mistakes.

In 2013 the comedian was charged with two counts of DUI after police reported that Kevin was flying down an L.A. highway at 90 miles per hour, almost crashed into a gas tanker and then failed a field sobriety test.

His blood alcohol count was almost twice the legal limit - .15.

Hart pled no contest to one count of DUI and got the second count dropped.

He was sentenced to 3 years’ probation and 3 months of alcohol education classes.

“This is a wakeup call for me. I have to be smarter and last night I wasn’t… Everything happens for a reason,” tweeted Hart the night after his arrest.
