"My awareness, my skills, my shooting, my control in front of the goal, my actions, where I have to be on the field, scoring goals out of nowhere - that’s what big players do, don’t wait for the ball to come in front of you, you have to create the goal yourself."

On Tuesday, Lukaku's Belgium come face to face against France. Thierry Henry was a World Cup winner with France in 1998.

Apart from having something to say about how one can win a World Cup, Henry is supposed to teach Lukaku how to do the most important thing in football against France: score.

Lukaku continued about Henry: "Since we’ve been working closely together I think I’ve raised my game twice as much than what I thought I could do, and I owe him a lot, a lot in the last two years. I owe him a lot."

The Manchester United forward has scored four goals and set up another two. He looks like a completely different player from just a few years ago.

Recently, Belgium captain Eden Hazard praised Lukaku as one of the world's best strikers.

It might not be hard to agree with Hazard. But what what should not be under-emphasised is how far the striker has come thanks to Henry.

The two have struck up an extremely close relationship and that is proving fruitful on the pitch.
