Robert Pires arrives in Ghana to launch Super Fan Campaign (Photos)
Arsenal and France legend Robert Pires has arrived in Ghana for a three-day visit.
Pires arrived on Thursday night, November 8, 2018, and he was greeted at the Kotoka International Airport by Barclays Bank Ghana officials.
Arsenals fans Ghana were not lost from the action as they were also there to welcome their legend.

The former Premier League star is expected to meet football loving fans at the Accra Mall on Saturday, November 10 and Sunday, November 11 at exactly 12pm each day..
At the airport, YEN.com.gh had an exclusive interview with Pires about his expectation with respect to his stay in Ghana.

Pires in responding said, he is aware that football is the passion of the nation and he is looking forward to meet the fans.
When asked about Arsenal's chances in the ongoing EPL, the former French international indicated that the Gunners have a chance to annex this year’s title.
He also hailed the coaching style of Arsenal manager Unai Emery stressing that he has what it takes to take the London based club to the promise land.

Pires joined Arsenal from Marseille in 2000 and he spent six seasons with the team.
During his stay with the Gunners, he played 189 games, scoring 62 goals in the process.
He capped 79 times for France and he was able to score 14 times.
He was part of France’s 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000 winning squads.
