Granit Xhaka announces baby joy as Arsenal star shares wife's baby bump

Arsenal star, Granit Xhaka, has taken to Instagram to reveal that he and his wife, Leonita Lekaj, are expecting a baby.

The 26-year-old shared a photo of himself standing behind Leonita with the lovebirds' hands resting on the bump with the caption: "Mommy & Daddy waiting for you."

The post has since generated a lot of love and affection, with fans sending the couple messages of goodwill.

The Swiss midfielder married Leonita in the summer of 2017, after meeting while playing for Bundesliga giants, Borussia Monchengladbach.

At the time, Leonita was working with the club, but it remains unclear the position she was holding.

She later moved to London after Xhaka completing his switch to the Emirates in a deal valued at £30million.

Meanwhile, their baby news will come as huge boost go Xhaka ahead of the Gunners' Europa League final against Chelsea in Baku, Azerbaijan.
