Champions League draw: Liverpool, Chelsea could land in Group of death

- Champions League draw for 2019/20 season will be done by UEFA on Thursday, August 29

- Liverpool are the reigning champions after beating Tottenham in last season's final

- Jurgen Klopp's men could find themselves in the same group with Real Madrid and Inter

UEFA who are the European football governing body will on Thursday, August 29, conduct the draw for the 2019/20 Champions League where all the clubs will know the Group they belong.

Two Premier League giants namely Tottenham and Liverpool played the final of the 2018/19 edition in which Jurgen Klopp's men won the championship.

But this time around, the four Premier League teams who will play in the 2019/20 Champions League will want to avoid the Group of death so as to fancy their chances of reaching the knockout.

Premier League champions Manchester City, Chelsea, Champions League holders Liverpool and last season's runners-up Tottenham are the four teams.

According to SunSport, they took part in a Champions League simulation doing the rounds online to see how the group stages could shape up.

And the result they came up with is not a good one for Tottenham and Liverpool who could be pitched in the group of death.
