The executive chairman of Dreams FC, Kurt Okraku, has been elected the new president of the Ghana Football Association.

Kurt Okraku got 59 votes representing 50% in the second round of the presidential elections which came off at the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Accra.
His closest contender, former vice president of the GFA, George Afriyie polled 43 in the runoff but conceded defeat.

The third candidate who made it to the second round was Nana Yaw Amponsah, who polled 16 votes.
The first round of the elections ended with the following results;
Kurt Okraku - 44 votes
George Afriyie - 40
Nana Yaw Amponsah -27
Fred Pappoe - 6 votes
Amanda Clinton - 0
George Ankama Mensah - 0
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that firebrand NPP Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has showered praises on NDC’s National Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi for exposing the corruption in the terminated PDS agreement.
The MP conceded that even though, Sammy is his opponent, he admires how eloquently and constructively he has criticized the NPP government in the PDS brouhaha.
