Mark Gretton: Liverpool fan gets 'Premier League Champions' tattoo with 13 games left

- Mark Gretton, a confident Liverpool fan, has gotten Premier League Champions tattoo even with 13 games left to play this season

- Gretton says Liverpool has got to win the league now after a 30-year wait and he doesn't regret getting a tattoo one bit

- Liverpool have a 22-point lead over defending champions Man City

Mark Gretton, a Liverpool fan, is confident his club will be crowned league champions at the end of this season and has already gotten a tattoo that reads 'Premier League Champions 2019/20'.

Liverpool have a 22-point lead over Man City and Gretton believes its game over despite 13 league games left to play in the season.

The Reds need six more wins to secure the title and Gretton believes the league is done and dusted.

The Brighton-based Liverpool supporter told Liverpool Echo: "I’m so confident now we've won it, that I got the tattoo done.

"They've got to win it now, surely. I don't regret it one bit, I'm embracing it, I love it."

"My wife doesn't realise the league doesn't end until May, she think it's finished now!

"I've had digs from Chelsea fans in work, but it's just jealousy.

"I get to games at Anfield when I can, I love the city and the banter.

"I started supporting Liverpool during the Kevin Keegan and John Toshack era, when I was aged about eight.

"I've had lots of people telling me I've had the tattoo too early, and what will I do if it goes wrong?

"I guess I'll run for the hills if that happens.

"But I'm confident it's game over, it's got to be.

"Liverpool fans can be very pessimistic, but we need to savour this."

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has been named the Premier League manager month for January.

The German-born tactician has been incredible with his Reds armies this campaign having opened a 22-point gap over defending champions Manchester City after 25 rounds of matches with 13 games left to play.

The Merseysiders are looking like they are cruising to their first Premier League title for the first time in over three decades. They won all their five league matches in the month under review.

Jurgen Klopp has now become the first manager to win five Premier League manager of the month award five times in a single season.

Meanwhile, Liverpool players will receive big bonus should they win the 2019/20 Premier League title in which Jurgen Klopp's men have been tipped to be crowned champions.

Liverpool players will all share £4 million as their first bonus for bringing the crown to Anfield.

However, sharing formula will have to do with the number of appearances each player get this season in the Premier League.

The likes of Virgil Van Dijk, Sadio Mane, Henderson, Alisson and Mohamed Salah are expected to get the highest money based on the fact that they are always in every game.

Klopp and his coaching crew will also receive big bonuses at the end of the season if they become victorious.

When Liverpool defeated Tottenham last season in the Champions League final, the players shared £7 million among themselves.
