Ghana's top World Cup goal scorer of all-time, Asamoah Gyan, has gone into tennis and has started playing very well as demonstrated in a latest video released.

The video was sighted by YEN.com.gh on the verified Twitter handle of Michael Oti Adjei, a renowned sports journalist in Ghana.

In the footage, the top Ghanaian striker truly portrayed his growing skills at the game of tennis, incorporating some of his football skills to enhance his performance, according to him.

Asamoah Gyan indicated that his first trial with the game of tennis was in 2006 when some folks were playing in camp and he decided to give it a shot.

It did not go well with him, however, as the very first strike went completely outside the court and he immediately threw in the towel.

10 months ago, Gyan recalls coming back with a more determined heart to learn and play the sport which he has always loved to watch on TV.

Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh also reported that Nii Odartey Lamptey, a former player of the Ghana national men's soccer team, the Black Stars, has revealed how marrying early destroyed his football career.

The former player made the revelation in an interview on Kasapa FM monitored by Ghanasoccernet and sighted by YEN.com.gh

In Odartey's own words, his marriage destroyed his football career by cutting it short because he would have played for longer if it not for his marriage.
