The Ghanaian boxing fraternity has been thrown into mourning following the death of John Commey.

The young boxer was confirmed dead on Saturday, August 22, 2020.

According to information gathered by YEN.com.gh, Commey died after complaining of body pains.

The young prospect was a member of the Black Bombers team (National Amateur team).

Commey died in a hospital in Accra and the news of his death has taken over social media.

Before his death, he was training at the Black Panthers Gym in Accra.

With his budding skills, Commey was tipped to be the next Azumah Nelson but couldn't live to realize that dream.
