As reported earlier, media personality Sera Teshna welcomed a newborn a little over a month ago, but the news was only made public on Tuesday, October 19.

In a post on her Instastories, Teshna said the baby was 40 days old and she also shared a video of an intimate love moment with Wanyama.

Days later and Wanyama himself has also taken to his social media to announce the birth of his child.

“We are excited. Our long-cherished dream of parenthood has finally been fulfilled with the arrival of our precious little prince.God is great. Thank you all for the love and support we are grateful,” the Montreal Impact midfielder said in his post.

He accompanied the post with a cute photo of the baby’s hands.

Wanyama and Teshna have been together for years, but have somehow managed to keep their romance away from the curious eye of the public.

Teshna, at some point, used to reside in the UK, when Wanyama was playing for North London outfit Tottenham Hotspur, and this led to mass speculation that the two might be an item.

Despite their recent attempts to keep their relationship discreet, they have been spotted on several occasions hanging out in Nairobi whenever Wanyama is back in town.

Wanyama currently plies his trade at Montreal Impact in the MLS, and is an integral part of his team.

As a matter of fact, Montreal Impact also took to social media on Tuesday to congratulate their star midfielder for his bundle of joy.

Victor Wanyama maintenant papa! Congrats to you & Sera Teshna for the beginning of this amazing journey.” The club shared on their official Twitter handle.
