That took his tally to 901 goals, and his teammate Bruno Fernandes wants to help him get to the 1000 mark.

The former Manchester United star recently said he is not yet done, highlighting that he is aiming for 1000 goals.

Barring any injuries, he is on course to achieve that incredible landmark. Some platforms list him as the highest goal scorer in history.

Last season, he shattered the Saudi Pro League's single-season scoring record with 35 goals for Al-Nassr, per ESPN, a sign that he still has a lot left in the tank.

Fernandes on Ronaldo's 1000 target

Ronaldo scored 44 goals in all competitions last season, and he will likely reach the 1,000-goal mark at some point next year.

His teammate Fernandes is determined to help Ronaldo reach his next big landmark.

"His influence is always the same, whether he starts or whether he comes off the bench," Fernandes said via Manchester Evening News. "We know that Ronaldo has goals in him, and it’s no coincidence that he scored his 900th goal days ago. We will continue on until we reach the 1000th goal."
