Ghanaian afro-pop artiste Noella Wiyaala was live in performance during the closing celebration of the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia.

The singer performed alongside global all-female group GRRRL, in an electric outing that was loved by the audience.

The group performed during the opening ceremony of the Games Festival, and were once again present to end the month-long celebration.

Wiyaala, also known as the Lioness of Africa, took to Facebook to share photos of her performance with GRRRL.

The photos were accompanied by comments which typified her joy at performing at the games festival.

She wrote: “GRRRL smashed it Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games closing celebrations at surfers paradise main stage. Australia.”

Wiyaala recently released the video of her latest song titled “village sex”, which has so far gotten over 200,000 views on Facebook.

Wiyaala is also associated with UNICEF Ghana and the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection of Ghana in campaigns against child marriage, child poverty, health and sanitation.
