President Akufo-Addo gifts new Ya-Naa customised Jaguar

- Ya-Naa, Abukari Mahama II, has received a new black Jaguar after his enskinment

- The gift was presented by President Akufo-Addo

- Abukari Mahama II becomes the 42nd Ya-Naa of the Dagbon traditional area

President Nana Akufo-Addo has presented a brand new customised Jaguar saloon car to the new Ya-Naa, Abukari Mahama II.

The vehicle was towed to Yendi to be donated to the chief after his official outdooring, according to report by MyNewsGh.com.

The investiture of the overlord of the Dagbon tradition area took place on Friday, January 25, 2019.

Ya-Naa Abukari Mahama II’s coronation took place at the forecourt of the Gbewaa Palace in Yendi. He becomes the 42nd Ya-Naa.

The colorful event was graced by President Akufo-Addo-Addo, former president Mahama and other political bigwigs from across the country.

The newly-outdoored overlord of Dagbon pledged his commitment towards peace and development in Dagbon and the Northern Region as a whole.

He also appealed to President Akufo-Addo-Addo to construct a new palace for the Ya Naa and the people of Dagbon.
