Emotional photos of Filipino posing with cardboard cutout of his late mother on graduation day

- Most people would do whatever it takes for their parents to show up at their graduation ceremonies

- As a result of some unforeseen circumstances, some people do not have the joy of having their parents grace their graduation ceremonies

- In a bid to fill the void of the absence of his mother from his school graduation, a Filipino student made a cardboard cut out of his mother on his graduation day

A fresh Filipino graduate, Paulo John, on July 16, 2019, shared a photo from his graduation ceremony of himself and his mother posing in the picture is actually a 157cm (5’2″) life-size cutout of Paulo’s late mother.

According to Paulo, his mother always had a very good relationship and promised to attend his graduation ceremony.

She however passed away due to pneumonia in August 2016 before she could fulfill her promise.

On his twitter, Paulo Alinsog wrote a caption to go along with the photo: “To my most beautiful mother! Ma, your eldest has graduated I hope you’re happy in the presence of God. I finished school because this is what you wanted. I love you very much.”

His post went viral thrilling everyone, “I really didn’t expect this at all, I just wanna thank everyone and tell them they should always love and honor their parents,”.

In other news, the names of the of the Ghanaian local consortium holding 51% of the shares in the Power Distribution Services (PDS) Ghana Limited have been revealed.

The Graphic Online reports that they are TG Energy Solutions Limited (TG), Santa Baron Ventures Limited (Santa), GTS Engineering Services Limited (GTS) and TBK Ghana Limited (TBK).

The report claims TG Energy Solutions Limited (TG), a lead local consortium sponsor holds 18% shares, while Santa Baron Ventures Limited (Santa), a local technical lead also holds 13%.
