Bria Sullivan, who develops mobile apps, has revealed the factors top Sillicon Valley companies take into consideration if they wish to hire a new employee.
She has also opened up on plans to ensure that the playing field is as level as possible so that no one gains an unfair advantage.
Sullivan reveals that she joined the tech world at a point when all that were present were one Droid and one IPhone.

Realizing that technology was on the verge of taking over the world, she sought to protect herself and her profession before she ended up unemployed.
According to her, it appears as if the leading companies in the industry only opens its doors for “the whitest black candidate.”
She explained that such firms are only interested in people who look are exactly as they are but Black.
Sullivan, however, wishes for a change, and is desirous of seeing bigger changes in the technological industry.
In her mind’s eye, she hopes to one see “all of Google maps run by a Black person or something like that.”
BET.com reports that her current team and manager have played a big role in helping her to be as outspoken as possible.
