Popular reality show star, Kim Kardashian, has evolved from being a controversial personality to a family woman and role model who is loved by many.

Over the past few years, the showbiz star has been able to gradually shed the negative image many people had of her and become an exemplary woman in the society.

This is evident in how she has been interested in prison reforms as well as speaking up for inmates who might have been wrongfully sentenced and criminal justice reforms.

Earlier reported that Kim revealed in an interview with Vogue that she is studying to become a lawyer and that she had been doing it before it became news to the public.

The 39-year-old mother also said that she is currently taking a four-year apprenticeship at a law firm in San Francisco, which in California, is a legal way to become a lawyer and take bar exams without going to law school.

However, in a more recent interview with CR Fashion Book, the reality star revealed a more personal reason for her studying Law.

Kim said that she raising four black children has contributed to her interest in social justice.

In her words: “I'm raising four black kids in this society, and our system is so discriminatory against black and brown people. I want to do as much as I can to make their lives easier.”

The reality star also said that once she started to dig and see the wrongs in the system, she could not stop being interested.

“I never knew much about the system until I started to dig in, and once I learned and saw how many things were wrong, I really couldn't stop”, she said.

Speaking further in the interview, Kim said that growing up has made her view things differently and that she wants to be a role model to her children.

She said: “My evolution on this is probably some combination of growing up, getting married, having kids, and my life being so different than it was when I was starting out.”

“Now, I feel like I have a duty to myself and to my children more than the public and I want to be a good role model for my kids.”

Lovely.
