Award-winning Ghanaian inventor and engineer, Frank Darko, has come out with yet another invention that is set to make rubbish and dust collection very easy.

The engineer has invented a sophisticated tricycle that he calls the "Dust Maxta" which sweeps and collects rubbish and dust.

According to him, some streets in Ghana have become engulfed with filth and he thought up a cost-effective way to deal with the sanitation issue in the country.

"The littering is too much. Even today graduates have joined in littering the environment. As a good citizen I have to do something to help stop the dark future that is hanging upon us.

I have always had the nation at heart. I use my energy to think about how to make Ghana a better place to live," Frank passionately noted.

The young engineer however bemoaned the lack of support to be able to bring more of such ideas and inventions into reality to make the country better and safer for all.

He called on interested organizations and individuals to support him in any way they can to help him bring out more inventions.

Through YEN.com.gh's story about Frank's first invention, the water bicycle, the young creative went viral and was even interviewed by BBC who came to Ghana to film a documentary about the amazing water bicycle invention.

He won many awards for the invention and even got an invitation to meet Ghana's Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

He revealed that his creativity came about as a result of his matchless love for science, and technology and the urge to solve day-to-day problems faced by people living in the community.

In other news, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that a staunch supporter of Accra-based football club, Accra Hearts of Oak has taken over the internet with a video of him eating banku and okro at the stadium.

In the video sighted by YEN.com.gh, the football fan was seen enjoying his meal while watching the Hearts match.

Many have concluded that the man was trying to "kill two birds with one stone" as he watched the match and had his supper at the same time judging by the time the match was being played.
