Man who Broke into a House to Rob Falls Asleep on the Bed after Switching on AC, his Photos Go Viral

- A young man identified as Athit Kin Khunthud has been caught sleeping in the house he set out to rob

- Unknown to him that his victim is a police officer, he decided to take a nap during his mission

- Caught on the bed even before he started carting things away, he was led out of the house cuffed

What many may have only heard about in tales happened in reality and gained media attention. A young man, Athit Kin Khunthud, on Monday, March 22, was found sleeping in the house he had gained access into to rob.

India Today reports that the house owner, Jiam Prasert, in the province of Phetchabun woke up to the sight of a man fast asleep in his house.

Too bad for the thief, the man is also a police officer. The thief had earlier on been searching for a house to rob.

By the time he picked Jiam’s house as his mission, he had already become too tired. Getting into the home, he switched on the AC and went into a deep sleep.

According to India Express, the man broke into the house with the help of a toolkit. The media also gathered that the young man only wanted to take a quick nap before continuing with his operation.

When the homeowner saw him, he screamed at the thief to wake up. Moments after he woke, Athit was handcuffed and led away.

Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the gist about a stolen birthday cake and how the culprit was caught via CCTV footage created much buzz online.

Twitter user, @giivensibekwe, clocked a year older on April 3, 2021, and threw a birthday party in which she invited her friends to celebrate with her.

However, @giivensibekwe who had stepped out around 5 am the following morning to do a delivery, returned by 11 am to discover her cake and some drinks - which were gifted to her - missing.
