The family of the late Ghanaian TikToker Elvis Frimpong, popularly known as Osanju, has announced the details of his final funeral rites.

Popular TikToker Osanju, known for his humorous and infectious content, reportedly passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025.

His cause of death has not been officially ascertained, but the late content creator publicly spoke about his battle with leukaemia.

Osanju’s death occurred seven months after his mother, Veronica Frimpong, popularly known as Amonu, also passed away.

In a video seen by YEN.com.gh on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, on TikTok, content creator Oheneba Jude shared details of the decisions taken by Osanju’s family regarding his funeral.

The late creator’s close friend, who has been at his residence since the tragedy, said his funeral had been scheduled for Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Atwima Koforidua School Park in the Atwima Nwabiagya District in the Ashanti Region.

He said a day before that, on Friday, September 26, a candlelight vigil would be held for the deceased TikToker.

Alleged neighbour speaks on Osanju's final moments

An alleged neighbour of Osanju shared more details of his final moments in a video that trended on social media.

According to her, around 2 a.m. on September 1, she found Osanju lying on the floor of his room in pain and finding it difficult to breathe.

She said she called a car to send him to the Mount Sinai Hospital where he was immediately placed on oxygen.

Osanju's alleged neighbour said his condition was so serious that a decision was made to transfer him to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, where he was declared dead shortly after arrival.

Osanju's family praises McBrown for support

Previously, YEN.com.gh reported that one of Osanju's relatives praised actress Nana Ama McBrown for the help she gave to the late content creator while he was alive.

Osanju, who battled leukaemia, reportedly spent huge sums of money to purchase medicine to combat his condition.

In an interview following his death, Osanju's family member shared that he received a lot of financial support from many individuals he met on social media, including Nana Ama McBrown.
