- Emmanuel Ofosu graduated with a GPA of 3.898
- He grabbed 9 awards on the day of graduation
The 2017 best graduating student of the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Emmanuel Ofosu, has disclosed his strategy.
According to him, students should remember their humble beginnings, so that they would be motivated to strive harder.
He added that most parents go through challenges in order to place their wards in school; therefore students need to take academic work serious.
He again added that he was almost always with his books, and this helped him achieve his objective.
In his words, “Colleagues, although life in UCC was so tough for many of us, the difficult days of the past are gone … it is incumbent on us to consider and focus much on the future.
We must think about what the future holds for us, how we are going to brand ourselves to fit into the society.
Our stories must not conform to the patterns of modern-day graduates of Ghana, but we should strive to achieve the best for ourselves.”
Ofosu, who was with the College of Humanities & Legal Studies, received 9 awards on the day of graduation.
He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, attaining a Cumulative Grade Point Average [CGPA] of 3.898.
