The late Rose Benson, mother of young Kumawood actress Clara Benson aka Maame Serwaa, has finally be laid to rest.

As expected many Kumawood stars stormed the town of Atwima Koforidua, near Kumasi, to mourn with Maame Serwaa and pay their last respects to the deceased.

Prominent among them was Agya Koo, Nana Ama McBrown, Bill Asamoah, Vivian Jill Lawrence, and Tracey Boakye.
Others including Bernard Nyarko, Matilda Asare, Christiana Awuni, Yaw Dabo, Wayoosi, Louisa Adinkra, Papa Kumasi, among many more.

Infact the only notable absentees were Kyeiwaa, Lil Win and Kwaku Manu.

Lil' Win, YEN.com.gh understands, was in Accra to attend the Matriculation Ceremony of the Abbeam Institute of Technology.

Mrs Benson passed away on December 7, 2017, leaving behind her husband and three children.
