Ebony’s friend Franky to be buried on March 3

- The family of Franky are based in the US and are expected in town for her final funeral rites

Family of Franky Kuri, the lady who died in the accident that claimed dancehall artiste Ebony’s life say their daughter will be buried on March 3, 2018.

According to Kofi TV, the family of the young lady, born Francisca Maame Yaa Teboa Nkansah, disclosed in an interview.

Franky before her death, resided in Clarksville Tennessee in the United States of America.

Kofi TV’s reporter who visited Franky’s family in the US reported that father of the deceased, Elder Nkansah said he and other family members are preparing to come to Ghana for the final funeral rites.

The reporter noted that Franky’s family members are all worried and shocked by the news, they are yet to come to terms with the demise of their daughter.

Frank Kuri who is said to be a music freak spent a lot of time with Ebony anytime she was in Ghana and had sometimes served as one of her dancers.

Ebony, Franky, a soldier and a driver were involved in a fatal accident on the Kumasi Sunyani Highway on February 8, 2018. The fatal accident killed all onboard the Jeep car, except the driver who is still in critical condition at the hospital.

The family of Ebony will also hold a one-week memorial for their daughter on Sunday, February 18, at the St. Martin de Porres School in Dansoman, Accra.

Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng known by the stage name Ebony, was a Ghanaian dancehall/Afrobeats artist known for her hit songs "Poison" and "Kupe". She was discovered by Bullet, from Ruff n Smooth.
