I take back my comment about following Ebony to hell - Ghanaian musician apologizes for scary loyalty comment

-The Ghanaian musician who said he was going to go to hell with Ebony has taken back his words

-His comments were as a result of the constant criticism that came the way of the late musician

-He declared his matchless love for the 'Poison' singer and threw his weight behind her

Obibini Takyi Jnr, son of famous Ghana highlife sensation, Obibini Takyi who was noted for the popular song “Akosombo Kanea, who is noted to have declared that he was willing to go to hell with Ebony has apologized for his comments.

Speaking in an interview with Black Legendary TV , Obibini Takyi Jnr said he has regretted making those comments in the past.

He said his comments came out of the passion he had for the 'Date Ur Fada' hitmaker and also to support her unlike the many people who kept criticizing her for one thing or another.

Obibini Takyi Jnr added that it was his fervent wish and prayer that Ebony was going to find peace and rest with God in heaven.

The upcoming musician said his comments stemmed out of his dislike for the way many people criticized Ebony Reigns either for her stagecraft or way of dressing.

He added that he noticed that the number of Ghanaians who loved and appreciated Ebony while she was alive far outweighed the number of critics she had.

Obibini Takyi Jnr used the One Week Observance of the late singer as an example of her immeasurable fan base.

The memorial saw attendance from people from all walks of life which was a clear indication of the impact the late singer made in the music industry and in the lives of many people.

About month ago, Obibini Takyi Jnr revealed that he was ready to follow Ebony to hell in case she was rejected by God in heaven. He added that the love he had for the artiste was beyond human comprehension.

Ebony died in a gory accident on the Sunyani-Kumasi road while returning to Accra from Sunyani.

Her childhood friend and PA, Franky Kuri and one air force official, Francis Atsu Vondee, who posed as a bodyguard also died in the car crash.
