Popular South African rapper, Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo, widely known as Nasty C, has disclosed that he has heard of about dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale but does not know whether he is a man or woman.
According to the famous SA musician, he does not know any of Shatta Wale’s works but he is anxious and yearning to meet the Bhim Nation President, Stonebwoy.
Speaking on Accra-based Starr FM on Monday, Nasty C said he has great love for Stonebwoy and his works since he (Stonebwoy) is “passionate about helping people.”
“I have to meet Stonebwoy, I love people like him. He has some positive vibes and he is passionate about helping people. I have to meet Stonebwoy, I really like him,” the musician said on Starr Drive.
The top South African musician who was a guest international artiste at the 19th VGMAs held at the Conference Centre last Saturday, also said even though he has heard about Stonebwoy back home, he has not heard Shatta Wale’s works.
“I have heard the name Shatta Wale but not his works. I don’t know if he is a man or woman,” he added.
Nasty C in his conversation however singled out Kwesi Arthur’s “Grind Day” as his favorite Ghanaian song.
The South African further noted that he was comfortable on the VGMA stage because he is used to performing to a large audience.
"I came from performing in school halls so I was not disturbed with the sound at the VGMAs. I am not afraid to share stories about me to people. I believe my stories can motivate people,” he said.
