- Ebony's father, Nana Opoku Kwarteng has revealed that he hates his new life
- According to him, though things have changed, he does not really have a choice at the moment
Nana Opoku Kwarteng, father of the late dancehall musician, Ebony, has revealed that he hates his new life.
Speaking with Prince Tsegah on ‘You Sey Wetin’ on Hitz FM, he stated that “it’s not easy, I wish I hadn’t gotten there, trust me.”
According to him, everything has changed, but he preferred his old life, even though he admits he doesn’t have much of a choice now.
He went on to say that constant exposure to the limelight is quite difficult.
His comments are perceived to be contrary to the popular belief that he was riding on his daughter to obtain fame and money.
It is also believed that his perceived penchant to speak to the media, and the rumour of the friction with other family members over donations received, was an indication that he was seeking attention.
In this video, Ebony’s father names some people he believes are guilty of his daughter’s death. The question of whether homosexuality should be legalized in Ghana also becomes a bone of contention:
