UN to honour Lil Win, Kenpong and others
- Some Ghanaian personalities are expected to be honoured by the United Nations
- The include Lil Win, an actor, and Prophet Badu Kobi, the Founder and Leader of the Glorious Wave Ministry
- Several dignitaries are expected to be present at the ceremony to honour them
A number of Ghanaians have been selected for the United Nations (UN) Excellent Sustainable Development award.
The list of nominees includes Lil Win, a Kumawood actor, Kenpong, a businessman, Prophet Badu Kobi of the Glorious Wave Ministry, and some traditional leaders in the country.
The award scheme, which is part of a program to campaign against illegal immigrants in West Africa, recognized the actor as one of its outstanding trailblazers who has contributed significantly to the course of the UN institution.

The event is slated for April 28, 2018 at the International God’s Way Church, at Ashaley Botwe school junction, Accra.
Dignitaries expected to be present include the Canadian High Commissioner to Ghana, Her Excellency Heather Cameron, the Turkish Ambassador to Ghana, Her Excellency Nesrin Bayazit, the Deputy Morocco Ambassador to Ghana, His Excellency Moulat Zaine and the National Chief Imam of Ghana, Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu.
Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin is being honored alongside astute business professionals like Kennedy Agyapong. CEO of Kenpong Group, Prophet Badu Kobi and others.
