Photo of thick cane Nayas used in lashing Ernest Opoku pops up

- Nayas has since been charged with unlawful entry and granted bail by the Nima Police
YEN.com.gh reported the lashing of gospel musician Ernest Opoku by one of his ex-girlfriends, Nayas, yesterday May 14.
The incident happened at the studios of Accra-based Adom FM, where Ernest Opoku was reportedly conducting a live worship programme.
According to reports, Nayas stormed the station with the cane hidden at her back in a long dress she wore.

Nayas reportedly started lashing Ernest Opoku the moment she gained access into the studio, and because it was a live programme, listeners who had tuned in heard the commotion.
Some of them reportedly run to the station to see what was really going on.
A photo of the cane as sighted by YEN.com.gh shows that it was a thick one, and there is no way Ernest Opoku could escape unhurt or without feeling deep pain, and this would definitely remind him of his days in primary school when his teacher used to lash him.
In the photo, the cane has been broken but YEN cannot tell if the process of the lashing broke the cane, or whether it was intentionally broken after the act.

Meanwhile, Nayas has said Ernest Opoku milked her dry during their relationship.
The actress is also hurt because the gospel star had described his illicit affair with her as a “mistake”.
She has thus vowed to deal with Ernest Opoku anywhere she meets him to teach him a lesson.
Nayas has also been charged with unlawful entry by the police and granted bail.
