As she waited, along with several others, she danced to a version of the song that has been adopted as a campaign song for Mahama.

A witness to the incident, Alhaji Taabso, revealed that Manuna and other people were dancing to party songs, when she unexpectedly fell down.

She was then rushed to the Manhyia government hospital, but did not survive.
