NDC shooting in Kumasi: Police declare 9 more persons wanted
The Ashanti Regional Police Command has declared nine more suspects wanted for their alleged involvement in the shooting and killing of a man at the office of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Kumasi.
In a statement released by the Ashanti Region Police Command on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, the following persons were wanted;
Saani Mohammed alias ‘Commando’, Wayo, Element, Jah Rule as well as Petit. The rest are Akon, Fayiz, Mallam and Rock.

The statement signed by Public Relations Officer, ASP Godwin Ahianyo further appealed to the general public to volunteer information that will lead to the arrest of the perpetrators for swift investigation and prosecution.
The police earlier named four suspects - Hussein Bari alias Warrior, Midjima, Damos and Abu Taliban.
This brings to 13, the number of persons said to have played a role in the disturbance at the regional office of the opposition party on Monday.
Two party bigwigs, Afrifa Yamoah-Ponkoh and Joseph Yamin were interrogated Tuesday, February 19 over the case.

Wasiu Iddrisu was gunned down Monday in an altercation with a fellow member of pro-NDC vigilante group – The Hawks – within the precinct of the NDC Ashanti regional office with several others sustaining injuries.
Another victim, identified as Abdul Rahman, who was also shot by the gun-wielding thugs, is in critical condition at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
