Bawumia to address Ghanaians on economy on April 3

Information reaching YEN.com.gh indicates that Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia will address the general public on the state of the economy of Ghana's economy at a town hall meeting on April 3, 2019.

Bawumia's address is part of efforts by the government's economic management team which is led by the vice president through the Ministry of Information give Ghanaians first hand information on the state of the economy.

According to a flyer of the event from the Ministry of Information which is circulating on social media, the lecture will be held at the College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Themed “Our progress, our status, our future," the lecture will start at 10:00am.

The April 3 lecture comes after a lot of public backlash directed at members of government especially Dr Bawumia who was touted as a shrewd economist when the NPP was in opposition.
