NPP MP reveals government cannot fulfil every campaign promise
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Subin constituency, Eugene Boakye Antwi, has stated that the Akufo-Addo-led government cannot fulfil every campaign promise.
Contributing to a panel discussion, he explained that even though the government wishes to fulfil every promise, financial challenges would make it impossible.
He however added that the government wishes to do everything possible to ensure that the economy is better and every Ghanaian is comfortable.

“We cannot fulfil every promise made to Ghanaians because the country doesn’t have money to that extent,” Antwi lamented.
The lawmaker, who is also the deputy works and housing minister, added that Ghanaians believed the NPP would make Ghana better and that is the reason behind the mandate given them to lead the state for the next four years.
He however gave the assurance that the government would provide Ghanaians with evidence to prove themselves at the end of the four years.
That, he went on, is the reason behind the government’s silence on agitations against it by members of the previous government.
In his opinion, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) may not have performed any differently if they were in government.
