A number of police officers have reportedly arrested a man on the charge of using Jose Mourinho as his profile picture.

In a news report sighted by YEN.com.gh on Pulse.com.gh, the incident happened in Nigeria after the victim was asked to pull over while he was driving.

After he stopped moving, he was signaled to alight from the vehicle and was engaged in some interrogations. As they were at it, one of the police officers asked him to hand out his phone.

Upon receiving it, the police officer noticed that the profile picture of the man was Jose Mourinho.

Jose Mourinho is a popular name in the world of soccer who has been a coach at many top football clubs in the world. He is currently Tottenham Hotspur's manager.

The reports indicate that after the popular coach was spotted on the man's profile, the police officers took offence.

They claimed that it was an attempt to defraud people by 'impersonation'. The man tried to explain that he was only a big fan of the coach, but the police would have none of it.
