364 significant structures NPP have built in the Volta Region
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) government says it has initiated over 17,000 infrastructure projects since 2017 when it came into office.

Speaking at a Town Hall Meeting in Accra on Tuesday, August 18, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia noted that the Akufo-Addo led administration has completed 8,746 of these infrastructure projects and 8,588 ongoing.
He also stated that the government ensured value for money in all these projects.

These infrastructure projects are in various sectors of the economy, including agriculture, education, energy, health, housing, industrial, market, railway, road safety, and security.
Dr. Bawumia also said that his party has ensured a fair distribution of the infrastructure across the country.
The Vice President announced an online portal: deliverytracker.gov.gh, which serves as a database to track all developmental projects currently under construction, courtesy the NPP administration.

A check on the website, deliverytracker.gov.gh indicates 361 completed infrastructure projects in the Volta Region.
The breakdown on the projects in the Volta Region are as follows;
1. Education Infrastructure - 66
2. Energy Infrastructure - 153
3. Health Infrastructure - 16
4. Housing Infrastructure - 8
5. Industrial Infrastructure - 4
6. Market Infrastructure - 20
7. Road Infrastructure - 30
8. Safety and Security - 12
9. Water and Sanitation - 55

Meanwhile, the NDC has described the claims by Dr. Bawumia blatant falsehood.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Communication Officer, Sammy Gyamfi described the lecture as false and plagiarized.
Mr. Gyamfi stated that some of the projects listed by the NPP are projects executed by the John Mahama administration.
“Bawumia’s presentation on the so-called infrastructural achievements of the Akufo Addo-government, is a compendium of blatant falsehoods, plagiarized Mahama projects and a comical celebration of mediocrity,” the NDC Commission Officer tweeted right after Bawumia’s presentation.
