A video of how Sarkodie took delivery of his ‘fake’ UN Award with pride at the ceremony has surfaced online.

He wore an expensive suit and was in the company of a friend who held the award for him after he had received it.

As they came back to their seat, the friend was heard telling Sarkodie in the Akan language that: “They said there is one more award for you”.

Sarkodie’s demeanour as he got his award showed that of a proud person who felt good for being recognised.

Fans have commented on the photo with the majority of them using laughter emojies.

Abena, for instance, said Sarkodie did not want to sit down after taking the award:

abena_adu_shalders: “Aden he didn't want to sit down anaaa.”

Paa Kwansa said it was too bad for Sarkodie:

paakwansa_paakaveli: “too bad for him. YOU WILL END UP GREETING THE GOAT

IF YOU FEEL TOO CIVILIZED THAN THE REST.. #wiseUP.”

Elvison laughed at the voice that said there was one more award remaining:

elvison_90s: “Some voice dey in saying cmo se aka baako.”

Meanwhile, Sarkodie has deleted the photo he took with the UN Award after it was discovered that it was a fake one. He was not the only who fell victim to the award 'scam'.

Rapper and entrepreneur, Desmond Kwesi Blackmore, known in entertainment circles as D-Black, who was one of the recipients has reacted to the news of his award being fake.

In a post sighted by YEN.com.gh on Twitter, D-Black has lashed out at critics of the award and citation he received last week.

YEN.com.gh has also published how two young friends caught and exposed the one behind the award, Dr. Fordjour.

Also, Nana Aba Anamoah has related how she swerved Dr. UN when he approached her.
